O’s Notes: Sax man Jimmy Sommers wrote most of these funky, R&B jams and also assembled an appropriate group of musicians to perform them. Les Nubuians grace the opener, “Menage A Trois”; the sizzlin’ “Let’s Go Party” features Ginuwine, and there are some nicely harmonized accents by Eric Benet on “Stay A While”. Jimmy also brings memories of George Howard with “James Cafe”.
