O’s Notes: The Yelena Eckemoff Quintet is a formidable team with Mark Turner (sax), Joe Locke (vibes), George Mraz (b) and Billy Hart (d). Yelena plays piano, composed all of the music and produced the album. The sough titles are accurate description of the contents: “Inspiration”, “Imagination”, and “Tranquility”… It is soft emotional sound that can set moods as stated.
