O’s Notes: Renée has a deep rich voice that is packed with emotion. She sings in many different musical settings, as a duet with piano, bass or guitar, and in groupings of 3-7 members. She works her range on tunes like “Skylark” to enhance the mood. It is delightful. Manning provides some soulful vocal gymnastics on “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby”. We also liked the blues groove of “Never miss A Good Thing”. There are 14 gems in this album, a balance of originals and popular classics arranged to her strengths.
