O’s Notes: Bassist Jen Hodge leads her band though an old school swinging jazz adventure that is a toe-tapper! Chris Davis (t), Connor Stewart (cl, sax), Josh Roberts (g) and Marti Elias (d) are the All Stars supporting Hodge. Jen also picks up the microphone for a few songs notably “If I Could Be With You One Hour Tonight”. The fifteen selections include instrumentals and bluesy vocals backed by a New Orleans swagger making“All’s Fair In Love and Jazz“an enjoyable encounter.
