O’s Notes: The quartet is Hein Van de Geyn (b), drummer Joe LaBarbera, Philip Catherine (g) and Enrico on piano, all well respected seasoned musicians. Enrico and Philip trade lead lines in friendly duels that make you want to bob your head. The best example is on “Just One of Those Things”. Catherine’s work is formidable throughout (did someone say Django?) to the point of almost stealing the show! But the foursome meld together well for this upbeat enjoyable set.
