O’s Notes: Geller plays sax and leads a sextet with Herbert Pixner (accordion), Walter Lang (p), Thomas Stabenow (b), Hajo Von Hadelin (d) and Marco Lobo (perc). The program has a variety of music ranging from meditative, soothing songs to upbeat bouncy tunes. Lisa Wahlandt sings on two selections and Peter Tuscher adds trumpet on three others. Pixner, Lang, Wahlandt and Geller compose all thirteen selections making Alpenglühen a fresh and relaxing session.
