O’s Notes: Drew Davidsen plays smooth jazz guitar and there is nothing offensive among these ten original tracks. This is his follow-UPI to his successful debut The Journey. The pace varies from the warm ballad “Only 4 U” to the funky “Plus 12” featuring bassist Gerald Veasley. Dave Krug (sax) and Jay Rowe (keyboards) are also present on an album that is full of energy and memorable hooks. You’ll certainly hear some of this music on the smooth jazz airwaves across the country. Two to listen for are “Bounce” and “Astro”. There I also a DVD with excerpts from a live performance.
