O’s Notes: This is a solo piano effort by Luciano Troja. He celebrates the music of the late Chicago-based Earl Zindars, one of the great American jazz and classical composers. Zindars’ music has been performed by many greats including Bill Evans. There are fifteen selections along with one original, “Earl And Bill” that fit in nicely. The music is beautifully peaceful and reflective. The tones of the piano are captured in an excellent recording, not an easy task. At Home With Zindars is one that you will want to take home with you!
