O’s Notes: Tori Snead sings and plays acoustic guitar. She wrote all or part of the music and lyrics for Awake, a spirited pop album that is at times a solo effort. Director/pianist Rex Bell, producer/synths Eric Chesher, Dave Rogers (d) and Joe Vick (b) provide support on most selections. It is a pleasant session highlighted by “Straight True and Honestly” and “You Are Here”.
