O’s Notes: Chuck picks up his guitar and lays down a set of eleven tunes that will satisfy both contemporary and traditional jazz fans. He opens up cooking on “Let’s Go” one seven tracks composed all of in part by Loeb. He gets help from Eric Marienthal (sax), Will Lee (b), Dave Weckl (d) and David Charles (perc) to name a few of the strong supporting musicians. Gerald Veasley (b) makes a guest appearance on two tracks notably the funky “Let’s Play”, a showcase for Chuck! “360” is a relaxing jazzy, mellow tune. Lizzy Loeb is the featured vocalist on “Oh No You Didn’t”, a pop song. Carmen Cuesta sings Jobim’s classic “S Tinha De Que Ser Com Voc” balancing a strong session.
