O’s Notes: Dual Rhythm is Earnest Bland (percussion and vocals) and Paul Rosenberg (keyboards). At times the duo sounds larger that two people, as many audiences have suggested and is suggested by the title. They play a mix of Latin, R&B and popular music reflecting their experiences. Most of the music is original but there are also a few covers notably the medley of “Night Dreamer/Afro Blue”. We also liked “Absence of Excess”.
