O’s Notes: Bop guitarist Charlie Apicella teams up with co-producer, drummer Alan Korzin to put together a classic cool bop set. Iron City is trumpeter Freddie Hendrix, Stephen Riley (sax), Dan Kostelnik (organ), Amy Bateman (violin on “Amalfi”) and Mayra Casales (perc).
