O’s Notes: Chloe sings with veiled hues, slightly nasal and always tonally correct. She is a young musician who has assembled a world-class team that includes Bill Mays (p), Martin Wind (b), Marvin Stamm (t) and Matt Wilson (d). They do a fine job laying the landscape and highlighting Brisson’s potential. She also gets an endorsement and support from her mentor Sheila Jordan who sings the closing song with her. The program is all classics, well arranged to Chloe’s strengths.
