O’s Notes: Michael plays trumpet and Robert plays piano. They lead their band with David Sanchez (sax), Antonio Sanchez (d) and Ricardo Rodriguez or Carlos Henriquez playing bass. The Rodriguez Brothers wrote all of the music except “El Manicero” a Cuban standard. They share the spotlight over nine swinging jazzy tracks. Highlights are “Spin”, “Midnight Excursion” and “Guayaquil” our favorite.
