O’s Notes: Daniel Gassin (p), Sam Anning (b) and Daniel Susnjar (d) form a trio to perform seven of Gassin’s compositions. They range from ballads like “Release” to burners like “Freefall”. “7e Arrondisement” falls in between, a swinging mid-tempo tune. No matter what the pace, they keep the listener engaged and ready to repeat the session. We look forward to hearing more from this unit.
