O’s Notes: The players are Mark Bjorklund (p), Page Hundermer (b), Mike Kobas (d) and Dave Storrs (d, keys, tb). This isn’t the traditional avant garde that many people would associate with congested random expression. This is spontaneously composed music with the musicians extending off of each other’s feelings. No, it’s not for everybody but it is creative and has a high listen-ability quotient and is recorded well. In fact we listened several times, because we enjoyed it.
