O’s Notes: Amanda sings with a jovial spirit, swinging through eleven great songs from composers like Jobim, Gershwin, Porter and Berlin. Her voice is soft, warm and very dynamic with good range and excellent tonality. While the lyrics are placed out front, they don’t obscure a fine performance from the band, a quintet. Highlights include “Besame Mucho”, “Cheek To Cheek” and “How Insensitive”.
