O’s Notes: Duologue is a power packed duo of saxophonist Steve Wilson and drummer Lewis Nash performs without the ‘safety’ of a traditional rhythm section and excels nonetheless! Nash is as melodic on drums as we’ve ever heard, complementing all of Wilson’s moves. There music is mostly bebop with elements of free jazz creeping in from time to time as on “Monk Medley”. Highlights are “Jitterbug Waltz” and “Caravan”.
