O’s Notes: This is the first all-acoustic effort from guitarist/vocalist Eric Johnson. He plays with exacting precision and sings with intensity. We enjoyed “Wrapped In A Cloud” and the quick picking and fun strumming of “Fatherly Downs”. “Once Upon A Time In Texas” and “The World Is Waiting For Sunrise” have that country twang that keep listeners smiling while Johnson explodes across the frets. It’s a lot less jazzy than what we normally write about but ej is entertaining nonetheless.
