O’s Notes: Chat Noir is a trio featuring Giuliano Ferrari (d, FX), Luca Fogagnolo (b, g, FX) and Michele Cavallari (p, keys, FX). They compose, arrange and produce the music on Elect3Cities, an eclectic set of world jazz with an earthy feel. The music reaches into outer space at times but is always grounded. “Chelsea High Line” and “Pearls” were our favorites.
