O’s Notes: Electric is keyboardist Greg Spero’s follow-up to Acoustic, his highly acclaimed debut release. He adds vocals on several of the eleven selections notably “Up Too Late”. Nine tunes are original compositions with a groove that touches blues/zydeco, country and some free jazz. This is a Kickstarter funded project that allowed for the broad sampling of genres. Creative, different and begging the question, what’s next?
