O’s Notes: This is a live solo piano performance that sounded like a full band! Jean-Michel’s arrangement of “Caravan” is creative dynamic and creative using the piano as a percussive instrument and complete rhythm section. He has incredible chops and transforms the standards to his vast array of moods. In between he adds an original series of “Etudes” resulting in a very entertaining evening. Sound quality is impeccable and there is a video in the enhanced CD mode.
