O’s Notes: Foolish Pleasure is a smooth jazz collection of a dozen songs composed and arranged by Charles Compo. He leads the melodies on flute, sax and guitar. Chris shows a romantic side on “Mom’s Midnight Dilemma” but most of the tunes are upbeat to mid-tempo tunes highlighted by “Artic Spring”, “Six Was Eight” and “Isn’t That Bad?”. It is a good session.
