O’s Notes: Pianist Yelena Eckemoff leads a trio with bassist Mats Eilertsen and Marilyn Mazur on drums. Forget-me-Not is her self-produced album with ten selections. Among the best are “Five”, “Trapped in Time” and “Quasi Sonata”. But this is a mixed bag with half of the music on the free jazz side in contrast with the aforementioned. Sound quality is excellent all the way through encouraging listeners to stay engaged for all elements.
