O’s Notes: Pianists Delbecq and Hersch are the leaders of this eclectic adventure titled Fun House. Bassists Jean-Jacques Avenel and Mark Helias and drummers Steve Argüelles and Gerry Hemingway join them. The result is a peaceful free-fusion groove that is spread over ten compositions written mostly by Delbecq. Our favorite is the racy “Night For Day”.
