O’s Notes: The trio is Derrick Hodge (b), Lewis Nash (d) with Helen on piano. They have a strong groove going together with Helen leading. All of the songs have good energy especially “Voyage” and “H-Town”. “Willow Weep For Me” has a nice bounce to it with Sung taking the melody in several different directions with both fluttering single notes and chords. Hodge does a fine job bowing his bass on “Where Or When” and we knew it we liked everything on the CD!
