O’s Notes: Annie has a soft, gentle and warm voice. She deploys it over eleven classic jazz and Latin standards alternating lyrics in English and Brazilian Portuguese. She is backed by a strong ensemble including Cecilia Tenconi shadowing on sax for “You’ve Changed”, Richard Padron (g) and Saadi Zain (b) on “Nosotros”. Kozuch is relaxed with the material and it comes through to the listener making this an inviting set.
