O’s Notes: Theresa brings us a fresh set of pop, jazz vocals for Hummingbird, Go! There are several short songs that set the mood. “Clusters” has an open almost eerie feeling while “Introducing the Kitchenette” has more of a tranquil, natural projection that is prevalent on most of the tunes. “God’s Highway” and “Locusts Are Gossiping” have a more spiritual feel. “The Waltz” is the highlight showcasing Theresa’s delicate vocal tones as well as her work in violin. Andersson plays more on the pop/folk side with this release.
