O’s Notes: Nancy Goudinaki is a budding jazz singer/guitarist from Greece. She’s made New York her home and managed to surround herself with an exceptional band that has Orrin Evans (p), Dwayne Bruno (b), JD Allen (sax) and Rudy Royston (d) as the core. Miles Griffith joins Nancy on “Just Friends” for one of the highlights of the set. We also enjoyed “Fine and Mellow”, a duet with Bruno.
