O’s Notes: Somi sings pop ballads with her warm inviting tone. The surrounding rhythms have solid beats and make this a string package. We particularly enjoyed the harmonies on “Rising” and “Wallflower Blues”. We wanted to sing along on “Kuzunguka” as we found ourselves fully engaged and ready to repeat the program. This is a taste of sweet popular music that has been absent on the airwaves for too long.
