O’s Notes: Norman Johnson puts together a set of ten light, contemporary jazz selections. He handles the melodies on both acoustic and electric guitar with support from a strong cast of musicians. Chris Herbert (sax) does a fine job on “Can I Get An Amen” with Steve Davis (tb) doing the same on “All in Time”. The songs are mostly upbeat with the exception of a couple of mellow ballads and they are all pleasant tunes that add up to smiles for listeners.
