O’s Notes: Guitarist Joachim wrote 80% of the material, all emanating from his moods. But his self-reflection doesn’t exclude the other musicians. Chris Potter (s), John Goldsby (b) and Adam Nussbaum (d) all make worthy contributions. The songs include driving fusion, upbeat blues and mellow reflections. Our favorites are “Three” and “Taxi of the Desert”, both with excellent interplay between Chris and Joachim.
