O’s Notes: Italian guitarist Sotti teams up with Sam Brash (organ) and Mino Cinelu (d) to form a trio that starts out cooking on “Blue Whisper”. He then moves to the Spanish based “Kindness In Your Eyes”. They alternate between these two modes through the CD. Guest artist Claudia Acuna sings with warmth on “Amancer”, the lone vocal track. “Brief Talk” is a tribute to the late Michael Brecker and “Mr. T.M” is a cool reference to Thelonious Monk. Sotti does a fine job on Inner Dance presenting fresh takes from different angles.
