Sit back and relax to enjoy a stirring vocal jazz performance backed by a formidable band. Yes these are familiar standards but these are unusual arrangements and Mitchell delivers the goods. Listen to his soulful beginning to “My Romance” before he croons in front of a swinging band on the same number! We also enjoyed the riveting performances of “Smile” with rich vocal harmony and “One Note Samba”. If the audio CD doesn’t satisfy you, pop in the DVD! Stay tuned; this man has a lot to say.
