O’s Notes: Drummer Chico Hamilton has been on the jazz scene for decades and he continues to churn out good music. Juniflip is no exception! He employs a strong cast of musicians and gives them enough space to shine. “Ain’t She Sweet” is a snappy vocal featuring Bill Henderson. “Yeh Yeh” with it syncopated brass exchanges is dedicated to Carlos Santana.
