O’s Notes: There is no debating the splendor of the talent of young Korean vocalist Youn Sun Nah. She has great expression and dynamics that has excited fans around the world. Her voice is developed far beyond her years. She is best on the jazzy tunes where she can stretch out. Lento is her third release on Act. She invites Ulf Wakenius (g), Lars Danielsson (b), Vincent Peirani (accordion) and Xavier Desandre-Navarre (perc) to join her. We enjoyed both vocals and instrumentation especially on “Momento Magico”, “Empty Dream” and the title track.
