O’s Notes: Denise is a show style singer so you are in for a ton of entertainment when she is singing, especially on this live set at Yoshi’s. The sound behind her is big and brassy but it doesn’t upstage her performance. There are ten songs highlighted by “Ellington Medley”, “Ain’t Misbehavin’” and “Big Long Slidin’ Thing”. Blue Monday Party is fun to listen to and easy to appreciate!
