O’s Notes: Ernestine’s voice is soft, expressive and warm with a lot of soul. By the time you get through the second song, “Nightlife Ain’t No Good Life”, you’ll know she can sing the blues! The lyrics are fun and engaging like on “Everybody Eats When They Come To My House”. The supporting band is crisp, especially work on guitar by Rodney Jones It is a nice combination of jazzy blues minus the chicken wire.
