O’s Notes: Malicious Delicious is a collection of nine jazz-fusion tunes written all or on part by guitarist Frank Butrey. The title track has a funky blues bent in contrast with the relaxing “Acoustic Afternoon”. Things heat up on the frantic pace of “This End Up”. Butrey alternates between these two modes throughout the program showing his broad array or skills.
