O’s Notes: This duo has been collaborating for almost 15 years with ten albums together in various configurations. Phil plays piano and Dave plays sax. You can feel the respect they have for each other. They explore creative elements on the contemporary jazz scene that translates to free fusion on this recording. They split duty writing on the ten songs. The sound is open and natural, relaxing yet also intriguing. It is a beautiful landscape.
