O’s Notes: Mystéfy is Stephanie Pierre, a Canadian jazz vocalist with a unique vocal signature. Her voice is soft yet powerful and easy to engage with. She wrote all of the music and lyrics alone or in collaboration with pianist Tim Allhoff. Deiter Ilg plays bass with Knuth Jerxsen playing percussion. They add various other instruments and strings where needed. The strength of the set is the simplicity and warm delivery that kept things swinging.
