O’s Notes: Bassist Richard Addison is one of Canada’s premier progressive rock and jazz-rock musicians. He wrote all of these compositions displaying his strong creative talents. The songs are split between slow funky grooves like “Sleepwalking” and progressive rock with ample doses of electric guitar. The title track uses violins for the melody – a nice touch. We also like the syncopated beats of “Le Grand-bé”. Overall it’s a unique journey into jazz-rock.
