O’s Notes: Jose is a living legend. We recognized that as soon as he graced the stage with “Chico and the Man”. He has excellent tone and clear articulation on his guitar and his vocals. We enjoyed his take on “Billy Jean” where he did an excellent job on guitar. He played some country blues on “I Got A Woman” and included some tunes with Spanish lyrics as well. Viewing this performance in Blu-ray allowed us to see the beautiful pattern on his shirt and the wood grain on his guitar. It was easy to see what we’d been missing in standard definition. And of course we enjoyed the music
