O’s Notes: Gordon plays guitar, bowed guitar and oud, the latter imparting an Indian bent to the much of the music on No Difference. The balance of the set is jazz-fusion with Grdina sharing the stage with Mark Helias (b), Kenton Loewan (d) and Tony Malaby (sax). But Grdina is the composer and producer and he is the prominent voice in this recording, a fresh take that pushes the envelope.
