O’s Notes: This is an upbeat set of eleven contemporary ballads written, sung and produced by Eliane Amherd. She mixes things up with a mild funky Latin groove on “As If” including a chorus in Brazilian Portuguese. It is followed by several blues tunes like “Where Is Home” and cool, festive island tracks. She also injects a little romance into “Trust You”. The package is fresh and worthwhile!
