They were formed by bassist Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter (sax) and lasted from 1970 to 1985, pioneering jazz/rock/fusion and evolving along with it. For today’s hip-hop crowd, a DJ Logic remix of “125th Street Congress” fills the bill. There are over 35 songs included and a DVD with concert footage that includes the late Jaco Pastorius! No fusion fan should be without it.
