O’s Notes: Santiago is a guitarist and composer who forms a trio with bassist André Vasconcellos and drummer Márcio Bahia. They play delicate songs that are tranquil like “Homesick” and “Horta & Guinga” as well as a few upbeat racy and mid tempo tunes. Daniel’s technique is solid and his playing was prominent. Our favorite was the opener, “Viewpoint”.
