O’s Notes: Maxwell plays sax, clarinet and flute. He leads his band through ten original compositions. Shawn’s phrasing is excellent as he weaves his instruments through ten original compositions. The songs are fresh and engaging. The band is mostly a quartet including a strong performance from pianist Jakub Rojek. We liked the mysterious feel of “Glamasue”, “Iynes Crayons” and “Dangerous Curves” best.
