O’s Notes: Trisha has a soft warm voice that works well on these tried and true standards. Pianist Shelly Berg does a wonderful job on the opener and helps tip off a very good session. Peter Washington (b) and Lewis Nash (d) round out the polished rhythm section. We liked the warm accompaniment of guest artist, Ken Peplowski’s tenor sax on “If I Should Lose You” and “Everybody Loves My Baby”. Other highlights include “It Could Happen To You”, “‘Deed I Do” and “Taking A Chance On Love”. The arrangements are unique and well balanced with vocals and instrumentation making this a very enjoyable session.
