O’s Notes: The steel drums are the featured instrument on the title track as they give us a taste of Trinidad. That sets the theme for the rest of the CD. They also give us some Cha-Cha and a wealth of the Caribbean festive sounds with strong Afro-Cuban beats over eight tracks. Our favorites were “Ivory Coast”, the funky “Nikkara” and the cool marimba on “88 Degrees In The Shade”.
